The house

No. 01
A quiet corner of the shop: a reading lamp, a wall clock and dark panelling

More than a haircut.A ritual refined.

Every appointment begins with a proper consultation: how your hair grows, how you wear it and what you want from it. Then we cut with precision — scissors and clippers used with intent, every line finished by hand.

It is the same standard on your first visit and your fiftieth. Your barber remembers what worked last time, books enough time to do it properly and never hurries you out of the chair. That consistency is the whole point.

Our story

The experience

Unhurried,by design.

Most of what makes an appointment here different is what we don’t do. We don’t double-book, we don’t rush, and we don’t pick up the scissors until we’ve talked.

  1. A quilted leather barber's chair facing a mirrored station

    A proper consultation

Ten minutes before the first cut: how your hair grows, how you wear it day to day and what you want to change. It’s the single biggest reason cuts here last.

  2. Slatted daylight falling across a quiet waiting corner

    Unhurried appointments

We book fewer clients, not more. Your appointment is timed for the work, with room either side, so nobody is watching the clock — least of all your barber.

  3. Clippers blending a skin fade above the ear

    Precision cutting

Scissors and clippers used with intent. Every fade is blended by hand and checked from every angle before you stand up.

  4. Apothecary shelves of grooming products above a stone basin

    Premium grooming products

Small-batch British clays, oils and balms, chosen for how they perform rather than the label — and we’ll show you how to use them.

  5. A glass of whisky on a dark wooden side table

    A drink on the house

Coffee, tea, a cold beer or a dram of single malt, whether you’re waiting or already in the chair.

  6. A barber at work in a darkened shop, lit by a single warm lamp

    A relaxed, private atmosphere

Three chairs, low light and good music at a sensible volume. No queue, no shouting over the clippers, no one rushing you out.

The barbers

Three chairs.Three specialists.

Kind words

Said in the chair.

The first barber in years who asked how I actually style my hair before touching it. Three weeks on and it still sits properly.
